The operation status of a component can be set by clicking on the `Edit` button. This will call up a component details screen where you can also set the current operation status.
Setting the operation status of a component is especially important for the calculation of the maintenance schedules list. Components with a counter depending maintenance job will be ignored in the updating of the schedules list as long as a component is set to not active, in store or damaged/repair.
