Spare parts are managed in the separate [Stock Control](/technical/stock-control) module. There you can organize all the component spare parts together with other articles and consumables.

If you have purchased the separate Spare Part module you can link articles found in the stock control database as spare parts to your machinery components by using the `Edit` button. Tracking information for spare parts that have been used or consumed will be automatically send to the Spare Part module when necessary - e.g. reporting used spare parts in a maintenance report.
