The SFTPClient tool is used for exchanging data replication packages with a dedicated SFTP server. This server can be hosted by the customer or a dedicated ZeeBORN server for short term file storage can be used.

## Configuration

There is no longer a separate SFTP configuration necessary. The required configuration values will now be set while activating a license key.

For selecting the files to be transferred, the tool relies on the list of vessels activated for automatic data transfer (see [Automatic Data Transfer](/Administration/Database-Replication/Automatic-Data-Transfer.md#preparation)).

## Usage

The tool will be used as part of a data transfer script that is run by the Windows Task Scheduler service in defined intervals.

### Command Line Parameters

Parameter | Description
---|---
`-upload` | uploads all transfers files previously created with the automatic transfer file creation
`-download` | downloads all replication files available on the server to folder `%zeebornshared%\replication files\download`
`-syncdownload` | used for downloading full site transfers (office to office replication)
`-config` | allows to check if the given configuration settings are valid for connecting to the SFTP server
