The ZeeBORN System uses MariaDB as the database engine on the server. For easiest installation possible, ZeeBORN delivers a repackaged version of the database engine setup, that performs all installation steps and configuration steps automatically, while adjusting all system parameters for an optimal performance of the ZeeBORN solutions.

First, the database engine needs to be installed.

* Run the `DBEngineSetup.exe` for starting the installation. 
* If you don't have any special requirements, leave the option `use default configuration` checked, and start the installation by clicking the `Install` button.

The installation will finish after a few seconds.
