Bunker Types
The kinds of bunker recorded in the system — the list is arbitrary and set up per company.
New adds a type, Rename changes its name, and only types that are not in use can be deleted. A type that is no longer ordered but appears in past reports is retired with Active/Inactive instead: it disappears from the selection lists while the old reports keep it. The list can be printed and saved with Share.
Bunker Configuration
Two settings govern how bunker reports behave.
An additional form to be filled out. Beyond the report itself, a further form can be required — Assign attaches it, Show opens it, Delete removes the assignment again. As long as none is attached, the field reads no form assigned. Ticking Mandatory makes filling it in a condition; without the tick it is offered but can be left out.
Office approval only required for failed analyses. With this switched on, only reports whose analysis failed have to go to the office. Everything within specification is closed without that step, which keeps the office out of the routine cases.
Off Hire Types
The reasons a vessel can be off hire — the list is arbitrary.
New adds a type, Rename changes it, and only types that are not in use can be deleted. Active/Inactive retires a type that still appears in past off-hire reports but should no longer be chosen. The list can be printed and saved with Share.
