Introduction
The Inspect App is a mobile app for Android smartphones and tablets that can be used for collecting data and photographs during an inspection. The app works together with a desktop client that helps to prepare an inspection and create the final report.
General Principles
The desktop client (Inspection Planner) is used for preparing an inspection.
An inspection is prepared by adding chapters and topics to an inspection catalog presented within the application as a tree. The Import Standard function can be used for importing already defined standards from the ZeeBORN system.
After finishing the preparation of the inspection, the prepared data can be sent to your smartphone. For preventing potential problems within corporate network that might prevent a direct connection between the desktop client and your smartphone, a dedicated cloud server will be used for exchanging data between the desktop client and the app on the smartphone.
