# Use Module

When you start the module for the first time, a window will appear with all your assigned reminders. You can also view this list at any time by clicking the button "Reminder List (by reminder date)".
By clicking on "Select my Ships" only the predefined ships will be displayed.

# Manage Insurance per Ship

To manage insurance per ship (site), click the “Manage Insurance per Ship” button in the main form. Use the “New Insurance” button to create a new insurance policy for each ship. Select and confirm ship and type: Then enter the relevant details there. If you assign the corresponding insurer as a company at PiC, they will then be displayed together in the system.

# Record the insurance rates:

When it comes to the rate types, I first included everything that seemed logical to me - if there's anything missing, I'll include it. Confirm with Save. The insurance is then displayed in the tree (1). The relevant details are shown on the right (2): Details.

  • Annual rate is calculated by the system (1)
  • If there are open case items for insurance, they will be displayed (2)
  • Documents are displayed (3) The hyperlinks can be clicked and show further information. Commands:
Function Description
Delete and Edit for deleting and editing
Attachments Attachments can be assigned, viewed and deleted via Documents
Close the insurance is ended and it goes into the close folder, i.e. it is no longer available for further cases, unless a delivery period is specified and the current date is smaller than the end of the offer - then the insurance is in the folder – within the tender period – displayed. These insurances will then also be offered for new cases.
Show History shows the change overview
Add Comment A comment can be added to the insurance; The comments are then displayed in the details
Edit Comment These can then be edited using Edit Comments.

If you select a vessel in the tree, you get a complete overview of the relevant insurance policies.

# How to assign Invoices

An invoice can be attached to each effected insurance using “Add Invoice”.

In addition, an invoice can be attached directly when editing an effected insurance. With “edit” you go to the processing of the effected insurance and then switch to the TAB “Invoices”. Here invoices can be attached with “Add”, edited with “Edit” and deleted with “Delete”. If a button says “(yet)”, this function is not yet installed. With “Share” the overview of the invoices can be printed or saved.
