Continuous Survey
For managing Continuous Survey (CSM) related components and maintenance jobs, the ZeeBORN system provides several options for identifying related items in the system.
#
Defining Items for CSM
CSM related items in the Planned Maintenance module can be identified on component level, maintenance job level and job code level. Defining items as CSM relevant makes them easier accessible via CSM related reports.
#
Components
On component level, when editing component details, there is a separate Class/CSM tab where you can enter CSM related information. For components you can set the checkbox CSM relevant and you can enter an optional asset ID in Asset ID.
#
Maintenance Job
For each maintenance job defined for a component you can individually define if a maintenance job has to be considered CSM relevant. This can be defined via the checkbox CSM relevat in the Maintenance Job Details editor.
#
Job Codes
CSM relevance can also be defined on job code level. This can be done via the Configuration > Job Codes menu by setting the CSM relevant job code as relevant for CMS. Setting CSM relevance on job code level will automatically treat all maintenance jobs having this job code assigned as CSM relevant. Using this approach avoids the need of setting the CSM for each single maintenance job individually.
Please note that defining CSM relevance via job codes is still limited to a single vessel. The CSM relevance still needs to be defined for each vessel indiviually.
#
Reports
All CSM reports are available via the Reports in the Components tab of the PMS module after selecting one of the vessels in the tree.
#
Report "Components > CSM Components"
This report lists all components defined as CSM relevant in a separate report. For each component you have access to all component details and all maintenance job and job reports of each component.
#
Report "Component Jobs > CSM Components"
The report works similar to the component report but uses instead all job codes and/or maintenance jobs that have been set as CSM relevant as a guideline for creating the report. Requesting the CSM report via the maintenance jobs will also include components that have not been explicitly defined as CSM relevant.
