Stock Control

The Stock Control module is your central place for managing all kinds of articles, consumables and component spare parts. Articles managed in the Stock Control module can be used as spare parts in the Planned Maintenance module and can be also added to requisitions and purchase orders in the Purchasing module.

On-board quantities are maintained by the vessel. Changes triggered in the office reach it as a request the crew confirms — see Stock Corrections from Office.

Spare parts are managed in the separate Stock Control module. There you can organize all the component spare parts together with other articles and consumables.

The Stock Control module shown in the Maintenance module is an integrated version of the independent Stock Control module. The features and functions of the integrated version are identical to the stand-alone version.

Everything that concerns the technical condition of a vessel: the maintenance that is planned and carried out, the defects that are reported, the stock and the lubricating oil on board, insurance matters, and the dry docking.
