Info

The Info screen gives you a per ship status view for all main areas of the ship. Areas that require your attention will be highlighted in red. Click the button Show Details for further details. In some cases the program will simply switch to another view with more details or the relevant module might be called up to allow a top down analysis of the shown problems.

Due to the huge amount of data to be analyzed, the Info screen will be update every 10 minutes only.

The certificate tiles: "Status as of" and Refresh

The certificate counts - overdue and due - do not come from a live query. They are read from a stored snapshot calculated in the background, which is what keeps the fleet overview fast for customers with many ships. Because it is a snapshot, the number on the tile can be slightly behind the list you see when you click it.

So that this is visible rather than surprising, each certificate tile carries its own status line:

Status as of: <date and time> tells you when the number was last calculated, and how long ago that was - for example Status as of: 21.07.2026 08:15 (3h ago).
If the value is older than 24 hours, or was never calculated for that ship, the line is marked with a red left border and a light red background.
The Refresh button recalculates the number for that ship on the spot. Afterwards the tile and the list agree.

A red status line does not mean the number is wrong

It means the number is old. The counts shown are still those of the last calculation, they are simply not fresh - the red marking is a prompt to press Refresh, not an error. Ships that have never been calculated are marked the same way, because their tile numbers cannot be relied on yet. The 24-hour limit is fixed and cannot be configured.

In the office there is additionally Refresh status of all sites, which recalculates the counts for the whole fleet at once and clears the red markings. It is available in the office only and can take a moment for large fleets, since every ship is recalculated.

If a certificate tile number looks wrong, pressing Refresh is the first thing to try - a snapshot that had not caught up yet is the usual explanation. This concerns only the counts on the tiles; the certificates themselves and their lists are always live.

What the maintenance tile counts

The overdue-maintenance tile shows the number of overdue maintenance jobs for that ship, each overdue job counting once. This is the same rule the Maintenance module applies, so the tile, the list behind it and the Maintenance module all show the same number.

What is not counted:

Jobs postponed to a later date - they are not due yet, so they do not belong in an overdue count. What counts is the postponed date, not the original one.
Jobs with a change request pending.

Both used to be counted, which is why the tile could show a higher number than the list behind it. Where that was the case, the number becomes smaller - that is the correction, not a loss of data.

The tile shows a calculated figure, not a live one

All tile numbers come from a stored snapshot, and the tile shows the most recently calculated one. That is not the same as "always current": a ship whose figures have not been recalculated for a long time still shows an old number, only now reliably the newest old one instead of an arbitrary earlier one. The Status as of line tells you how old the figure is, and Refresh recalculates it on the spot.

What the ship card shows about data exchange

Applies from version 2237.

Underneath the IMO number, the ship card shows when data was last exchanged with this ship. How many lines appear depends on where you are working:

On board these two lines used to be missing altogether; they are shown there now.

That docs out and the version are missing on board is deliberate, not an omission. A vessel does not distribute a document library, so the value is not kept there at all and the line would permanently read ---; and the version shown would be the vessel's own, which says nothing. If a description states what the ship card shows, it has to distinguish between office and vessel - otherwise the missing lines get reported as a fault.
