6801 Advantage client newer than Advantage server
Problem: The version of the client Advantage interface communication library is newer than the Advantage Database Server.
Solution: Upgrade to the latest version of the Advantage Database Server.
6802 Advantage Database Server does not support AIS
Problem: The Advantage Internet Server could not communicate with this version of Advantage Database Server.
Solution: Upgrade the Advantage Database Server to a version that supports the Advantage Internet Server.
6803 Error opening semaphore connection file
Problem: An error occurred opening the Advantage semaphore connection file. When an Advantage application first connects to the Advantage Database Server, it attempts to open a semaphore connection file. This open failed.
Solution: By default, the semaphore connection file exists in the same directory as the first table opened. If the user does not have network READ privileges in this directory, the semaphore connection file cannot be opened and the user cannot connect to the Advantage server. The application must either open its first table in a directory where the user has network READ privileges or a non-default semaphore connection file path must be set up. See the Semaphore Connection File Path description in the Configuration chapter in your Advantage Database Server Guide for information on setting up a semaphore connection file path.
6804 Error accessing directory
Problem: The user attempted to access a directory without proper Advantage Internet Server authorization.
Solution: The appropriate access rights need to be added by the Advantage Internet Server administrator.
6805 Error accessing a file
Problem: The user attempted to access a file without the proper Advantage Internet Server authorization.
Solution: The appropriate access rights need to be added by the Advantage Internet Server administrator.
6806 Error accessing file or directory
Problem: The user attempted to access either a file or a directory without the proper Advantage Internet Server authorization.
Solution: The appropriate access rights need to be added by the Advantage Internet Server administrator.
6807 AIS error accessing file
Problem: The user attempted to access a file on the Advantage Database Server which the Advantage Internet Server could not reach.
Solution: This may be a network error. Check the network connection.
6808 AIS error allocating resources
Problem: The Advantage Internet Server could not allocate sufficient resources to support the users request
Solution: Add memory to the computer where the Advantage Internet Server resides, or quit some of the applications running on that computer.
6809 AIS error unrecognized operation code
Problem: The Advantage Internet Server does not recognize the user's request. The user may be using a version of an Advantage client application newer than the Advantage Internet Server.
Solution: Verify that the version of the Advantage Internet Server supports the version of the Advantage client application.
6810 AIS not supported
Problem: Version 6.0 of the Advantage client does not support the Advantage Internet Server.
Solution: The Advantage Internet Server can be used with any Advantage client versions older than v6.0. Therefore, if you require use of the Advantage Internet Server with the Advantage Database Server v6.0, you must use a version of an Advantage client older than version 6.0. Version 6.1 of the Advantage Database Server will incorporate the Advantage Internet Server into the database server. This will allow version 6.1 or greater of the Advantage Database Server to have Internet support without the need for a separate Advantage Internet Server product and will provide support for versions 6.1 or greater of any Advantage client.
