Fuel EU
The Fuel EU module records and monitors the FuelEU Maritime statements of your vessels. For every reporting period a statement is stored per ship, containing the energy consumption, the greenhouse gas figures, the resulting compliance balance and the estimated penalty cost. The module keeps track of which statements are still open and which penalties have already been paid.
View
The tree on the left groups the statements into the folders open and closed, below that by year and month of the end date.
- Selecting the root node or a year/month node shows an overview table of all statements of the selected ships, including a total line.
- On the root node an additional
Fleet Fuel EU Statuschart shows how many statements are open and how many are closed per ship. - Selecting a single statement shows all its details, attachments, comments and reminders.
The ships shown are controlled by the site selection in the ribbon (Select my ships selects the ships assigned to you).
Create a statement
There are three ways to get a statement into the system:
- New
- Create a statement manually and enter the values yourself.
- New (DNV)
- Create a statement by dropping the DNV verification statement (PDF) onto the dialog. The IMO number, the reporting period and all values are read from the PDF and filled in automatically, and the PDF is attached to the statement. The ship is identified by the IMO number.
- Import from Folder
- Bulk import of all PDF statements contained in a folder. Successfully imported files are renamed to
*.imported.
Each statement holds the following data:
When saving, ship, start date and end date are mandatory, the end date must not be earlier than the start date, and you are warned if a statement for the same ship and the same period already exists.
Close a statement
Once the penalty has been paid, the statement is closed with the Close button (Office only, requires the corresponding user right). The paid state, the closing date and the user who closed it are stored and shown in the Pay section of the statement, and the statement moves to the closed folder.
Attachments, comments and history
Documents can be attached to every statement, either from the dialog or by drag & drop. Comments and reminders can be added to a statement; open reminders are highlighted in the ribbon and can be shown in the reminder list and on the User Dashboard. All changes to the values, to the closing state and to the attachments are logged in the history of the statement.
Configuration
Only ships that are released for Fuel EU can be selected in a statement. The release is done in Configuration -> Site/Ships -> Specified Use (see Sites).
