Excel Exports
Two exports take purchasing data out of the system: one for comparing the quotations received, one for the structure of the purchase tree itself.
Comparing the quotations received
Reports > Open RfQs Overview (Excel) lists the offers for all open requests for quotation side by side. The overview opens on screen first and is exported to Excel from there.
It produces one row per supplier quotation — three suppliers quoting for the same request give three rows, which is what makes the offers comparable at all. All amounts are converted into your own currency using the exchange rate of the current day, so nothing has to be converted by hand.
This overview exists in the office only.
Exporting the purchase tree
For taking the structure on the left — vessels, folders and their entries — out of the system, right-click in the tree and open the Tree submenu:
To get a complete branch into the file, either use Export Selected Folder to Excel..., or run Expand All (selected branch) first and then export the visible tree.
An export never contains more than you are allowed to see — your permissions apply to the file exactly as they do on screen.
