Ship Overview

The lube oil overview of a vessel shows one month at a time: what was received and consumed in that month, and what the stock was. You can page back month by month to look at earlier periods without leaving the overview.

How to open it

  1. Open the Lube Oil Reports module.
  2. In the tree on the left, open Lube Oil → Overview and select the vessel.
  3. The vessel's Lube Oil Overview opens on the right, showing the current month.

Alternatively, select the Overview entry itself: the card Current Stock by Vessel lists the whole fleet with its stock, stock value and a coloured bar for the remaining supply. Clicking a vessel name opens that vessel's overview.

Paging between months

Directly above the inventory table there is a navigation line:

Element What it does
< May 2026 Goes one month back.
June 2026 The month currently displayed, shown in bold in the middle.
July 2026 > Goes one month forward. Only offered while you are looking at a past month.
(back to current month) Jumps straight back from wherever you are. Also only offered while you are looking at a past month.

The heading above the table names the same month, for example Lube Oil Overview - MV Example - June 2026, so it is never in doubt which period the figures belong to.

You can page back up to five years. Once that limit is reached, the link to the previous month is no longer offered.

What the table shows

These columns are shown for every month:

Column What it shows
Type The lube oil type
ROB last month The stock at the end of the month before the one displayed
Received in ltr. What was bunkered in the displayed month
Consumed in ltr. What was consumed in the displayed month
ROB current month The resulting stock

These columns are shown only in the current month:

  • current price in USD
  • Price per ltr./kg
  • Supply - the coloured bar with the estimated months of supply left
  • the Correct link that appears next to a negative stock

The reason is that price, value and supply always describe the stock as it is right now, not the stock of a past month. Showing them next to the figures of an earlier month would give a misleading picture, so they are left out there.

How the figures are counted

  • Current month: from the first of the month up to today.
  • A past month: the complete month, from the first to the last day.

Correcting a negative stock

If a stock figure turns negative - for example because a consumption was recorded that the system has no matching receipt for - the line shows a Correct link at its right-hand end. This link only appears in the current month.

  1. Click Correct in the line with the negative stock.

  2. The dialog Lube Oil - Exception Report opens.

  3. Enter the Correction Quantity, the Price and the Currency, and describe the reason under Explanation.

  4. Click Save.

The correction is documented with your explanation, so it stays traceable why the stock was adjusted.

Please note

The overview itself is read-only. Receipts and consumption are still recorded in the usual places; paging through the months only changes what is displayed. The only entry made from this screen is the stock correction described above.
