Insurance

All insurances can be recorded and all claims managed in the module.

Two things are kept apart:

• Insurances are the cover itself — per vessel or for a whole fleet, with their rates, periods and insurers. See Insurances per Ship.
• Cases are the damage events, with the insurances affected by each of them recorded underneath. See Cases.

Which insurance types exist, what is recorded for each of them, and how cases are classified is set up under Configuration > Insurance.
